This 1954 Chevrolet 5700 Cab Over Engine truck was built in 1954 in Los Angeles and had the aluminum delivery box installed in April before ever hitting the road. It was used to deliver the King of Beers in Long Beach CA until 1986, I was contacted by the nephew of the truck's next owner, telling me that his uncle who had worked for the city of Long Beach as a mechanic purchased it to use as a moving truck. He said he remembers he and his other cousins playing in it as children.It came from the factory with a strait 6 cylinder, but now has an International V8 under the hood and cab. It doesn't run right now, but was told when I picked it up that it wouldn't take much to get it going. The patina on the cab is spectacular, and would be awesome to just leave it as it is, or bring it back to the hay days of its glory. It could also beresurrected to become a crown jewel and incredible attention getter for advertising your business.
