1976 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Additional Info:
1976 Chevrolet Silverado C-20
Selling my 76 Silverado truck. Its not a show truck or a shiny truck but you will be proud to own it. It was built 43 years ago and has minor issues here and there. I owned it for 2 years and i believe im the 3rd or 4th owner from the registration history.
Engine- Small block 5.7 350 with headers. This is not the original. The Build sheet on glove box shows it came with a 7.4 from factory. Runs great. Carburetor needs help at cold start. Pump the throttle twice and it starts. It smokes a little bit at first start of the day but doesn't smoke when warmed up like any old vehicle.
Transmission- TH400. Does its job. Shifts smooth with no hiccups. Comfortable cruising speeds on the Highway is about 65mph. It has a heavy duty rear end with towing gear ratio.
Suspension/Steering- This is not Cadillac Deville. But behaves very well on the road. Alignment is off, it pulls to the left but i am used to it. No clunking in the ball joints or steering. Solid good brakes.
Body/Paint- Truck original Color is the paint on the firewall. Its a different shade of grey but very close and hard to see the difference . Its been painted but i believe the white paint is original. It was painted many many years ago and the clear shine sunburned off. With a good professional buff it can shine. Some of the trim moldings do have help from body screws holding it in place. There is NO rust. Dry truck. Paint is not perfect. has chips and scratches on the bed. I did touch up the wheels with paint.
Interior- All stock other then the radio. Seat is a red vinyl i never had the cover off but the stitching on drivers side is coming apart.
The truck does not NEED anything but it can use some servicing to make it more fresh. If i dont sell it i will be changing the shocks, brakes, all the fluids and a full tune-up etc... only reason im selling is because i need to fix my shortbed project truck.
I am Located just north of Sacramento California and you are welcome to come and inspect and drive the truck or send someone out to look at it for you.
Payment options, cash is king.$500 non refundable PayPal deposit due at end of auction and the remaining balance will be bank to bank wire transfer.
