1964 Chevrolet Nova Super Sport
327, Four Speed
Original Red/Red Super Sport!
Vehicle Condition and more details
Up for auction is my 1964 Nova SuperSport. These older Novas are getting increasingly harder to find. This example is uncut and appears stock in most areas
This car is very fast and dependable, drives tight and is a magnet for attention.
Cosmetics
The body & paint are very nice with a lot of shine and good gaps. The car is very solid. The body panels are as straight as a gun barrel and the gaps on the doors, hood, and trunk are nice. It has been polished and buffed to a mirror finish and the chrome, and bright work is original and not perfect but really good. The wheels are a set of old school Americans with radial tires.
The bumpers are near show quality. The other trim is in good condition.
The interior is the original red bucket seats, in the correct factory pattern. Aftermarket front seat belts. Very nice headliner and trim. Stock gauges, vintage Sun tachometer and AM-FM-CD radio and speakers.
Mechanical
Engine runs great, no problems or funny noises and is one of the quietest engines I have had. The distributor has an HEI electronic control. The motor runs great and is very fast. The M21 four speed works great and is near new, in fact I just installed a complete NOS Hurst shifter, (try to find one of these for this transmission, not cheap), for precise shifts.
The engine runs very strong and fast with no issues, no smoking, no overheating. The cooling system has a GM clutch fan and overflow tank.
The engine checks to be a 1965 vintage 327/350HP. The only things changed from stock are the carb which is a new Quick Fuel carb and the new HEI distributor.
Transmission shifts smooth – and correct.
Steering is straight and solid.
The brakes are Power Disc/Drum type and work correctly and stops the car on a dime.
All fluids have been changed and are fresh.
The exhaust is factory style dual exhaust 2 ½ inch, with stainless tips and in excellent shape.

Overview
This is a great example of a stock appearing 64 Nova. Original Super Sport and red on red to boot. It will make someone a proud owner. You won’t be able to wait to show it off. I receive compliments each and every time I take it out! It drives very nice, no rattles or noises. Very tight indeed! Great investments too as these cars are the ones to collect and are rising in value every day.
I have many photos, so if you do not see the view you want, just ask. This car is a pleasure to drive. It is a very nice driving muscle car. The car sounds aggressive and draws a lot of attention whenever I drive it. I am sure I have forgotten something, so if you do not see what you want in the photos or description please ask. I desire the new owner to be completely comfortable with their decision. I have a reserve, set to the quality of this car, and will not disclose it. Just bid what you are prepared to spend.
Look at my feedback; whenever I sell something on Ebay I try to be as detailed as I can, giving you a factual description to the best of my knowledge.I have never sold a collector car where the buyer was not satisfied! I am the private owner of this car. The title is in my name and the car is presently registered in South Carolina.
