1963 Chevrolet Impala Additional Info:
Up for sale is our 1963 Chevrolet Impala Custom nicknamed "Jampala." This build is a fresh, complete frame off rotisserie restoration that was just debuted for the first time this month at the 57th annual ISCA World of Wheels Chicago. This Impala received the prestigious ISCA Top Twenty award and best paint award. Car also debuted as cover car for Ledfoot news Chicagoland magazine. We have owned this Impala for ten years and was built by our auto body repair & custom shop Airport Auto Rebuilders Inc. located in Chicago IL. Vehicle started off as solid and complete 1963 Impala. Every body panel is original to the car, however with custom subtle modifications. Such changes include custom made low profile cowl hood, shaved handles, shaved mirrors, shaved cowl grille, shaved firewall, rear quarter lower exhaust exits, amongst other changes. Paint is a gorgeous two tone with red pearl on the top half and a sleek Porsche pewter color on the lower, divided by red pinstripe that matches the big red Wilwood brakes. Body panels are ridiculously straight, while the paint has beautiful shine that looks so deep. Undercarriage is detailed and painted Porsche pewter as well. 20x10 color matched torque thrust style wheels in back and 18x8 up front. Engine is a rebuilt 327 with Comp Cams camshaft and lifters, compression bumped to 10:1, Enlarged 194 heads, 202 intake valves. Custom exhaust with electronic cuts outs when want to be heard with Hooker headers. New B&M 350 transmission with 2500 stall feeding into a 373 rear end. This Impala moves and sounds just right. The beautiful new red leather interior is all custom including the trunk. Upgraded stereo system looks factory from 1963 but sounds like 2019. Vintage Air climate control system was installed to keep passengers cool. All wiring has been replaced and upgraded with more modern system along new digital Dakota dash. Doors can be opened by remote control. We were not planning on selling vehicle but we are running out of space to store and have other projects coming up. This is a great opportunity to enjoy this fresh one of kind build for the up coming car show season. It will certainly turn heads.
