This is an extremely well doneproject car with over $80,000spent to date by me and prior owner.It is being sold at a very reasonable reserve because back problems forces sale. As you can seeall of the hard work is complete.
DRIVE TRAIN: Rebuiltcorrect date codedQB 409 engine (3788068 block dated L-22-61. Heads 3814690 dated A-2-62 and A-3-62. Intake manifold 3814881. Carburetors front 33615 and rear 33625.Water pump casting number 3765797. Exhaust manifolds 3822926 and 3822925.Correct distributor converted to electronic . Correct rebuilt generator. Aluminum 1962 borg warner T10 transmission rebuilt. Tail casting #T10-7D 1-11-62. Cover casting date 8-23-61. Case casting # 3783312 1962. Have shifter linkage but not handle.New center force clutch. Drive shafts new bearings and u joints. Rear end rebuilt includes correct1962 p case with 3.70 posi-traction gear.
CHASSIS: Body off frame restoration includingframe sand blasted and correctly painte, all new suspension; new bushings, ball joints, tie rods, wheel bearings, brake parts, shocks, brake and fuel lines, and body mounting bushings. New gas tank and sending unit.
BODY: All panels and floor replaced or redone. Paint is complete with single stage ermine white( has a few minor chips from bolting on partsthat are an easy fix). Grill and headlights installed. Correct new T3 headlights. Have correct rear tail lights and tail light trim.Undercarriage is correct red oxide primer. Bumpers re-chromed and all brackets powder coated. All mounting hardware included. Everything to install bumpers included. Rebuilt hinges and finished hood will be installed by owner before pickup. Reproduction trim tag with correct to restored car information as shown in picture.
WHEELS: Rally wheels and paintedsteel wheels with new dog dish hubcaps included.
GLASS:New tinted glass for all windows and doors. Done by Auto City Classics includingre-chromed rear side window frames and correct date codes on all glass.
EXHAUST: Complete stockexhaust system and hangers still in box.
EXTERIOR TRIM:All exterior trim but rear lower rear 2 window pieces included.Belt line molding re-anodized at a cost of $3,000. Rest of trim needs polishing.
INTERIOR: Needs interior (have old seat frames and rear side arm rests). Interior dash and all interior moldings repainted and ready to install. Includes stock gauges . Have most of interior door parts but may be missing a few pieces.
MISC: Have new correct 409radiator in box.Have correct powder coated fan shroud. Missing fan. Needs wiring harnesses ( I held off buying in case new owner wanted to do something other then stock).
