The time has come for us to start letting some of the classic cars we have held on to over the years go. We wish we could say this example was a barn find but instead this one comes to us from a field behind a house where it has sat for many years before it found its way to the field behind our shop where it sat for a couple more. Here is your chance to stepup and end this pattern of neglect, by turning this old truck into something amazing.There is not much that we can tell you about this truck that the pictures won't say for us. It's an awesome looking naturally weather-worn Chevrolet Apache pickup. The patina on this truck looks cool but there is some pretty serious rust just about everywhere. The engine under the hood is clearly not originaland we know exactly zero about the condition of the engine, trans or any other formerly moving part this truck has. Worth noting, the driver's side door and hood both do NOT currently latch. The passenger side door is latched now but we have not tried to open it. Other then the interior, the truck appears to be pretty much all there including hard to find trim items.Great candidate for restoration, or aresto-modproject. It would warm our simple little hearts to see this truck riding around on a modern chassis with the glorious years of wear and tear preserved under a few layers of clear coat. To make bidding on this truck an easy decision we will have a starting bid of $1.00 with no reserve!
Due to the overall condition of this vehicle, it is being sold as-is where-is true miles unknown. We do have a clear Virginiatitle for this truck but the mileage is marked TMU. When making pickuparrangementsmake sure to be prepared with a proper trailer, winch, and muscle to load and secure the vehicle. Loading assistance WILL NOT be available at our location. If you are a buyer within the state of Virginia, local delivery is available for an additional fee determined by distance. Because we are a licensed dealer we will require that you either come to our location to do paperwork in person OR we can mail you the documents so you can fill them out at your location then send them back to us before we release the vehicle to be picked up. We will require a deposit within 24 hours of the close of the auction and full payment within 7 days. If the vehicle is not picked up within 30 days it will be considered abandoned property.
