Up for auction is my baby.Due to the fact that I have broken my knee and wrist a month ago with a 12 month layoff from work and a 1st born on the way we could use the money.I bought this truck from the original owners son who inherited it from his father. This truck is exceptionally clean for considering the rust and salt we have in these states. Cab is completely clean, rockers, cab corners etc. The box has one spot that has rust through and one spot on the driver side door from a piece of trim being gone. Motor is a REBUILT 454 with paperwork with 14k on it and runs perfectly. Has a Th400 Transmission that shifts firmly. 4:10 gears for amazing pulling power. Has a gooseneck ball in the bed and all updated trailer wiring for newer trailers. And has a brake controller in the cab.Since I’ve owned it I’ve replaced the following...Comp Cam 4.90-5.10 lift with new lifters for additional power and torque, and timing set. Also an Edelbrock Rpm Aluminum intake along with performance built q-jet carburetor with rebuilt factory style electric choke and works flawlessly in the cold mornings for easy start ups. Has brand new hooker headers with custom bent 3” mandrel bent exhaust with super turbo mufflers for a nice sound. Brand new brakes including rotors, pads and calipers up front and new shoes, hardware and drums in the rear. Brand new Lt235-85-16 tires. Less than 200 miles. Steer tires on the front mud terrain on the rear. Truck has power windows, locks and works.. original fm radio does work but pops a little through the speakers, the cruise worked and after carburetor was rebuilt it hasn’t since( it needs hooked back up). The a/c needs a charge and a belt but everything is there. Heat works great. Pictures speak for themselves. A/C equipped squarebody chevys are hard to find and even harder in this condition. I’ve personally driven this truck on (500+) mile one day two day trips and other than a lot of gas it runs great and smoothly.
