The truck is road worthy with no major known issues. Theold girlis 79 years old, not a show piece anymore, she still has style and personality. She knows how to get plenty of attention from all ages, male and female alike,on the street, or at any cruise in, or truck show. The truck runs and drives every bit as good as it looks. The 235 6 cyl.motor fires on the first turn and fires on all 6 cylinders, superoil pressureno smoke, no overheating issues. runs smooth at an idle and at acceleration. The trans. shifter is tight and shifts through all the gears with no grinding, no clutchslipping, or clutch chatter. The king pins and steeringare tight with no excessive play in the steering. This old truck is comfortablea real pleasure to drive, steers easy and doesn't wander all over the road. All the gauges work as they should including the gas gauge and speedometer, the lights work including the dash lights and fog lights. The brakes pedal is at the top and stops good. All the glass is clear with no cracks, or foggy edges. The windows go down and back up very easy, the doors close tight with no worn outlatches, or saggy hinges. The windshield does open out with a little help, the wipers do work, the original horn still works. The BF Goodrich Silverton W.W.tires are free of weather cracks and they have a lot of tread life.
