Rare 1978 Corvette 'Daytona'
This was a project that my father purchased 7 or 8 years ago. At the time it was 90-95% finished and he never had a chance to do all the little things and really enjoy it before his passing. It is one of the most unique Corvettes that you'll likely ever see. It's a base model 25th anniversary 1978 with a custom 'Imsa Daytona' body kit (believed to be an original Eckler's or Greenwood) designed after the Greenwood Daytona Turbo which sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars.The car was built by a guy in his garage and took nearly 20 years and over $20,000 to get to where it is now and was driven rarely during that time. It's been sitting for a year or two now, definitely needs at least a new battery and the actual mileage is unknown.
If you want a fun weekend cruiser that will get as much attention as a Batmobile and are willing to put in a little sweat equity than this might just be the ride for you!
