1957 Big Window Big Block

1957 Chevrolet Other Pickups Additional Info:

1957 3100 Big back Window pickup with a 1969 396 or 402 big block (engine casting is 3955272) Holley carb and automatic transmission. This is a sweet looking truck with a nice lowdown stance. Its not a show queen but could be! Camaro front clip I'm told. Power steering, power brakes, all new lines, wiring, hoses, suspension, exhaust. Very clean and rust free frame and under body. Bumpers, emblems, running boards, and full chrome trim package all in good to excellent condition. There are imperfections in the paint job, chips here and there especially where tilt hood has come down and rubbed edge of doors. It takes two people to raise the hood and someone likely did it by themselves and caused the scuffs and chips. It could be put back to a stock hood set up for minimal cost if you like. Don't know of any rust repairs, except looks like a cab corner might have been replaced. I'm no paint and body guy though so ask questions, for pictures of specific areas, or come see for yourself. Could use a donut gasket on the passenger side header and a little carb adjusting but runs strong like she is. Wipers work but no arms currently, original fuel gauge works, signals and signal indicators, lights, windows, as well as aftermarket oil, temp, and voltage. Interior and carpet is recent and is very nice. Bed is plywood. Metal bed trim pieces included for installing the hardwood decking of your choice. Front tires are like new and rears have less tread but still have some miles in them (wonder how that happened, he he he!)
I'm selling this truck, 2 1957 Bel Air's, a 1964 GTO, 1970 MGB, 1962 Impala SS, 1942 Chevrolet pickup, 1996 Tacoma, and maybe my 1956 Panhead to buy my neighbors land.
I'm traveling from NC to Florida in February and could possibly deliver cheaply. May be able to offer delivery to other locations for a reasonable price once truck is paid in full. I will also assist your shipper when given reasonable accurate notice of their arrival.
