Fresh from a frame off restoration, with both the build receipts and restoration photos to chronicle the process, this 1970 Chevrolet C10 pickup could rest on its aesthetic awesomeness alone. However, factor in its unique additional features, and you'll find it's not just a stellar custom truck, but also a veritable entertainment machine on wheels, as well. We've always been fans of the '70s era C10's look, both in stock and custom configurations, but this is one... specimen that stands out, even in strong company. Decked out in a ruby red metallic paint job that really accentuates those rugged good looks, the truck has a decidedly custom shade, but not so drastic as to be distracting. That impressive paint job is accessorized with a very clean and aggressive looking front grille, straight and unblemished bumpers in both front and back, and fresh rubber seals surrounding the windshield that all combine to make this C10 look as road-ready and vital as can be. From front to back, the body contours line up well and give no outward indication of the customization lurking just behind the doors - the entire bed can be raised at an angle to display a 50" television in its optimum viewing position (think tailgating), in essence making this already coveted truck all the more so at your favorite event. That very substantial asset aside, this is a great looking truck both inside and out. Open the driver's side door to climb inside and you'll see a seriously impressive interior. The bench seat features a tuck and roll look, is comfortably upholstered and decked out in an eye-catching two-tone color scheme that's mirrored by the door panels on each side. Direct your gaze forward and you'll see a few features that really add to the driving experience of this truck. Just beyond the custom steering wheel and tilt column, a set of fresh Iequus gauges sits inside the black backdrop of the instrument cluster to monitor your motoring functions, and the aftermarket climate control system is in fine form, ready and able to keep your occupants comfortable. While an unassuming looking AM radio sits front and center on the dash, the beefiness of the speakers residing in the kick panels provides a hint that there's likely more audio firepower on board than meets the eye. And so there is - no less than a dynamo of an AM/FM sound system that's powered by two 300 watt amps and features a set of subwoofers that reside just behind the bench seat. The system features USB and Bluetooth connectivity, so you're not likely to run out of listening options any time soon. The bed itself is quite a focal point as well - lined with well-prepped wood, interspersed with chrome supports. Mechanically-speaking, this truck is aptly configured to be a driver as well as an attention magnet. A 350-cubic inch Chevy V8 sits under the hood, outfitted with an Edelbrock 4-barrel carb, a serpentine belt system, and an HEI distributor and gives off a great sounding exhaust note through its 3" Flowmasters. It's paired with a 700r4 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission that's geared to provide both exhilarating off-the line performance, as well as low revs on the highway. In addition to all the standout features it's sporting, this C10 is also a nice easy driver - outfitted with both power steering and power brakes. This exceptional vintage custom truck sits on a set of chrome 18" Vision rims, outfitted with Lexani Ex-Thirty tires.
