This 1970 Chevelle SS 396 was freshened up with a frame-off restoration after two decades in a dry storage.It is powered by a correct 396ci 8-cylinder engine with Black Jack headers mated to a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. It is equipped with a dual exhaust, F41 suspension, 12-blot rear end, new brake components, and factory style wheels wearing BFGoodrich T/A radial tires. It features original GM sheet metal painted black with OEM GM fenders, hood and doors. The new red interior features a non-tach SS dash and Soft-Ray tinted glass.
I am selling for a friend that purchased the car at Barrett Jackson Northeast in June of this year. He probably only drove it two or three times. It is a beautiful car that just needs a new home.
