You are bidding on a perfect frame off restored '69 Z/28!
It was built in Pittsburgh by a professional shop, frame off all new parts. I have a youtube clip of it being built, in stages, copied below. It was a made from 2 complete cars, one of which was a real Z/28 for the shell.
I had a new cowl hood put on this summer and painted, so if you see 2 different hoods in photos, the cowl is the recent!It has a new zz502 crate motor and new smooth 6 speed that runs perfect, no fuss, hydraulicclutch, and cruises at 70 down the highway all day.Electric exhaust cutouts and ceramic coated exhaust headers.This is a true z/28, the trim tag matches the title.Over $120,000 has been invested in this car! Receipts to back that up come with!
Every part of the car is in 9.5 out of 10 condition.It has been back halfed with a good kit that rides smooth, w/ coilovers. Last summer I upgraded the lower control arms to better units and new springs for a better stance. 4 wheel alignment at the time.It has a TigerCage roll cage in it that allows easy access in and out of the car. I also started installing 2 new digital gauges but haven't got them fully wired yet, I will try to by the time the auction ends.I am missing a ton, but all nuts and bolts are new and restored to perfection.No disappointments!
