Cincy Classic Cars is very proud to offer this Stunning 1978 Factory 4 Speed Corvette which is in beautiful overall condition condition and priced to sell. This Corvette is truly exciting being a Factory Brown over Brown 4 Speed Corvette with still retains its original engine and original 4 Speed Manual Transmission. This Corvette has only had two owners since new with the first owner having the car for 34 years. This Corvette features a stunning repaint in Dark Brown Metallic, a terrific restored brown leather interior, a super desirable 4 speed manual transmission, and the original excellent running 350 engine. This Corvette is very solid with great lines and gaps and shows no signs of visible rust anywhere around the car or underneath the car. This Corvette is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Brown (code 69) over Brown leather (code 692) interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified by the trim tag pictured below. The has to be one of the most unique color combinations on a late model C3 Corvette that I have ever seen. Factor in a factory 4 speed transmission and this most likely is a one of one 1978 Corvette.
Exterior

The Brown exterior is in superb restored stock condition. This Corvette was repainted around 2003 to show quality and still shows extremely well today. The paint is in remarkable shape and has an excellent gloss with a smooth touch and deep shine. Its a beautiful shade of brown and will surely be the only one like it at any cruise night or car show. There is no rust anywhere around this car and the underside is very rust free as well. Thankfully the underside is clean and honest and not covered up by cans of cheap spray paint. Both bumpers are in great shape with no cracking or faded or flaking paint. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but nothing was intentionally excluded from the photos. The Goodyear Eagle tires are older but still have excellent thread and drive well and are sized 255/60/15 and the wheels are OEM originals and in wonderful shape and shine nicely. The t tops come on and off nicely and fit snug and do not rattle while driving. All glass is "LOF" original glass. The headlights go up and down as they should and work extremely well. The frame and underneath of this car is extremely solid and very clean and detailed. It looks just as good as the top of the car.

Interior

The Brown leather interior of this Corvette is in wonderful restored condition. The leather seat covers are in excellent condition with no rips, seam splits, or excessive wear and were replaced with correct replacements. The front and rear carpets are in like new condition and were both replaced with correct replacement carpets. The original dash is in excellent condition with no fading or cracks and the dash bezel is in great condition as well. The stereo was upgraded to a digital CD player that sounds great and all 4 speakers work. The steering wheel was also replaced with a correct factory wheel. The door panels are in near perfect condition and were replaced with factory correct panels. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should outside of the clock. The horn, stereo, power windows, rear defrost, and fan blower also work. The factory AC system is still in tact and currently blowing cold air. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.

Mechanical

This Corvette is in excellent mechanical condition and we have driven it numerous times and it always performs extremely well and is a true joy to drive, especially with the t tops off rowing through the gears. The 2 previous owners of this vette kept meticulous care of this special vette and original owner had some mild performance upgrades done around 1993 like a new energized cam, 327 oil pump, new push rods and roller tips. Most importantly the original 350 engine and original 4 speed manual transmission are still in the car with matching vin stamps. The brakes have been completely serviced including new calipers, new brake hoses, and some new brake lines, and the brakes work very well. The emergency brake was serviced as well and works properly. This Corvette still retains its stock style exhaust set up including the original catalytic converter. This corvette rids very tight with no rattles or squeaks. The shocks were also replaced and so were the end links and leaf springs. In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs extremely well. This Corvette is an exceptional driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs great. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should. The clutch feels good and it shifts easily in and out of gear. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. This is a factory AC car and all the factory AC parts are still in place and currently blows cold air.
