1965Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu convertible, V-8, 4 speed w/1st gear lockout competition shifter. It has a chromed rear differential with traction bars. This car was owned by the same owner in SpokaneWashingtonsince the mid 70's. The car hadn't ran for several years, until the owner came down with a terminal disease. A friend wanted the owner to be able to drive the car before he passed. So they spent 4100.00 having the engine tore down, new radiator, new fuel tank, brake work and misc. done to get it back on the road. Ido have the receipts for the work that was done.I am not sure what the motor itisbut believe it’s a 350. Originallythe car had a 283,no power steering or brakes. Andappears to have been red. It is a old school hotrod that looks like it was customized in the 70's ie shag carpet and old school 5 spoke Cagar wheels.
The car runs good and has decent power, however the steering and front end are looseand will need some work. This car is far from perfect, it has some bondo in the rear quarters, and the trunk pan has had some work done in it. With being said it is a good looking car with eye ball that turns heads.
