1987 Chevrolet Other Pickups Sierra Classic Additional Info:
THE LAST THREE DAYS OF THIS LISTING, I WILL DROP THE PRICE $1000 PER DAY. BUY IT NOW and lock in a very rare Classic Truck. I have spent months trying to find a match to this truck all over the internet, and there is not another one like this model to be found, another one does not exist.. In 1992 my wife bought this GMC Sierra Classic 3500, 1 ton, 4WD 3+3 crew cab, 454 throttle body carburetor, automatic transmission, and 8 ft bed. She she put a camper on the back( putting the tail gate in storage ) and towed a three horse diagonal and a truck load of girls all over the 5 north western states. This truck had the engine and tranny oil changed on scheduled changes. The engine does not smoke and burns maybe a quart to 1000 miles. Still plenty of 454 power. We bought this GMC in 1992 with 62,800 miles on it. Now has 170,00 and has not been driven sense 2011. Needs a tune up,and is very driveable. Like new Mud and Snow tires. New ball joints, tie rod ends and steering box. We have all the repair receipts, which include having the transmission completely rebuilt with even heavier duty parts and shift kit upgrades. This big truck transmission shifts extremely smooth, and has an extra two quart, Aluminum finned transmission pan with a drain plug. As you can see form the pictures, there is very minor rust at the top of the door. Still in very good condition for being 30 years old. No major rust and no bondo. It needs a dash and shift selector re pined, The electric windows all work, but are sticky from setting. Has electric door locks, air conditioning, and a heater that all work good We have the original tail gate that has been stored sense we purchased this truck. And will not sell just the tail gate. I took it to the auto shop in town and had the old gas drained and the oil changed and have been driving it a little.A friend broke down on the way to work at 4am this morning. Fired up Big Red and towed him home. Brings back memory,s of what real torque and towing horse power are.after driving my F-150 for several years. In 2016, I had Hagerty Classic Insurance appraise this truck. They said: If I had all the parts gathered in one location, as being insurable for $9800. I have searched the internet for a model like this one for weeks and have never found one. I have the VIN report for anyone interested. And many more pictures I can E-Mail contact me with any questions or offers. Call Me Anytime. We are Pacific Standard Time. Steve 208-755-4331
