1967 Chevrolet Impala Biscayne 427 Additional Info:

1967 427 Motion Biscayne tribute. Original California black plate car purchased in San Diego and shipped to Michigan about 4 yrs ago. Originally a6 cyl 3 on the tree manual car. Ermine white exterior with a blue interior. Basically a zero option car, manual everything and 425 hp with a Muncie M-20and a total blast to drive. Bumpers all rechromed, trim either polished out or NOS. There were lots of NOS parts used in the restoration including trim, hubcaps, emblems (including the Motion emblems), Shifter and probably the most amazing part of the car, the engine. Yep its NOS as well, not a L72but as close as it gets being a LS6. I aquired in still on its pallet! and its amazing. The LS6 and the L72 share most parts, the same solid cam, winters mark alum intake and the big rectangle heads. I had numerous people try to buy the motor before I put it in including a collector that has a NOS motor collection..lol But I felt this car was perfect for the motor. You never see Motion cars real or not so thats why I thought it would be so unique. They calledthese the "Drag racer specials" at Motion.. Total sleepers. The car looks very nice and is used as a driver for cruises and car shows which are plentifularound the Detroit area. The car is no award winning trailer queen, I drive it so there are some dings and scratches and I would say a new paint job should be in its future. But look at the pics, it still turns heads and its impossible to go anywhere without people asking questions or taking pics. Hate to see it go but its time to look for the next one.. Turn key and super reliable, New suspension( tubeular control arms), brakes, wheels and tires, custom made cross member, H-pipe exhaust with dumps like the old days, totally rebuilt m-20 4 speed, the clutch, bell housing all linkages are brand new. Two things the car doesn't have installed yet is the correct 4 spd steering column and the 12 bolt rearend, but BOTH ARE INCLUDED IN THE SALE. I just added a good pic of the engine with the head off, I wanted to make sure all was good to fire it up. Original NOS head gaskets were used to put it back together. Google that piston #3963550
