1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Additional Info:
I have my very nice and mostly original 1966 Chevelle 300 Deluxe up for auction. I don't really know where to start but I can tell you it's one of the nicest survivers I've seen in a long time, most of the paint is original although I'm sure it has been spotted here and there at some point in its live but who knows its 53 years old and I like it just like it is and it gets plenty of attention and complements at the shows and cruise in's!! The body is nice and solid with original sheet metal. The bumpers are super nice but I'm not sure if they have been rechromed although I'm sure they are not repops. The grill and all trim look fantastic and you would not replace any of it, even has all 4 original T3 headlights. The glass is very nice with no bad scratches or hazing of any kind, Windows roll up and down very easy like they should. I did have them tinted to the legal limit and it keeps the Vintage Air Conditioner ice cold although if you don't like the tint it's easy to remove but it's a good job and looks factory. One look at the interior and it's obvious this car has been garaged and treated very well because it is all original including the rubber floor covering and it is not ripped, dry rotted or tore up like most, has all original door and trunk seals in nice condition, The dash and gauges, bezels and dash pad are real pretty and not restored it is all original. The headliner is really nice and not dis-colored although it does have a couple very small mice holes but not bad enough to replace it? The 283 V8 drivetrain is matching number and runs and drives like it would have in 1966 even after I installed 2 inch front and rear drop springs. Transmission is the original 3 speed standard on the column and shifts smooth as butter! (FUN TO DRIVE) and even has power steering. The wheels are new 18x7 18x8 Torque Trust D's with new tires, The dual exhaust is new 2 1/2 inch Flow Masters and sounds great. I am 70 years old and have owned lots of Chevelle's but I think I've enjoyed this one as good if not better then any, we drove it to several shows this year and some were 200 and 300 miles. Overall this is a great and low production 66 Chevelle 300 Deluxe that you can drive anywhere with ice cold air and leave the paint alone or if you are into show cars and trophies it's an easy car to repaint. Remember they are only original once!! My cars normally sell before auction ends so if you don't want to lose it make me a reasonable offer and I may end the auction early but please don't ask for my reserve. All low baller's will be ignored and I don't have to sell it I would just like to make a little room before winter sets in. Please check my 100% feedback and bid with confidence I don't play games. Thanks for looking!
This vehicle is being sold as is and if you have any questions, please ask before bidding.
Transporting is the buyers responsibility but I have one I have used that is very reasonable and reliable and I closed and I will assist in anyway I can with loading.
Please have your funds in order before bidding and if you need to talk it over with your spouse or anyone else please do so before bidding. I have this vehicle priced reasonable and do not want to play any games. Thank you and good luck bidding.
We require a $2000 nonrefundable deposit through PayPal at the end of auction and full payment within 72 hours. If you don’t agree with these terms please do not bid on the car without contacting me on different arrangements. We reserve the right to end this auction early if the right offer is made prior to auction end because most cars I have sold on eBay have been sold before the end of auction. Thank you for looking at my car.
