I am selling my 1949 Chevy 3100 shortbed truck. There are a countless amount of parts and hours invested into this truck. We are an active duty military family that has just gotten assigned overseas.Unfortunately, I can not take it with me.I have had this truck garaged for the last 17 years. It is a frame off restoration and is in great shape. If there were anything that would it would need is to touch up the paint. It has a 15yr old paint job but it still looks decent.Every gasket, wire and bolt has been replaced and the only thing that is not correct to the period is the 12V electrical upgrade and the power dual reservoir brake booster for safety. Both of those upgrades I felt were essential to practicality and more importantly SAFETY. It is not a perfect show truck but it isn't a beater either.
200 miles onrebuilt engine
Never drivenin rain or slept outside. Always Garaged...
All new "Painless"wiring harness
New gas tank
No rusty cab corners
Painted Frame (dusty from sitting in garage but very clean)
New Radiator
New Brake System (entire system) lines, proportion valves, wheel cylinders, hardware, Booster/master cylinder and pads...
Alternator
New fuel pump
I could go on and on. There has been so much that I have done to this truck over a period of years.
Please ask any questions you may have. This is a NO RESERVE auction and it will sell either to the highest bidder or to a buy it now buyer. I hate to part with it but it has to go.
Good luck
