This type of car is usually seen tucked away in a collectors garage and held on too. It is RARE to see a car of this prestige up for purchase.
This 1961 Corvette's pedigree includes...Best of Show, Mayors Choice, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best in Class. This corvette has become well known on the show circuit and is now available for purchase. This car has been a popular "Peoples Choice" throughout it's current ownership. The car has been featured in "Wichita On Wheels" and has been used on variouscovers for Wichita Area Car Shows.
This corvette has had a Frame-Off Restoration in 2010. The current owner had the coves painted "Mystic Green Metallic" and "Sebring Silver Metallic". A Hard Top was located (with original headliner and 1961 dated glass) and added to the car in 2011 upon it's New ownership. True-Spoke Wheels were also added with Coker Wide Whites.
The car is in excellent condition both mechanically and cosmetically. It has "Perfect Chrome" all around and the Fit & Finish is what you would expect from a High End Nut and Bolt Restoration. The car's interior is an example of what these cars really looked like back in the day. The seats and dash are vinyl and the carpet is the proper "green".
The motor is a new 350 with 330 Horses and it is FAST. Excellent compression allows his car to start out in 4th gear. The clutch is tight and the torque this engine musters will leave 'fishhooks" on the pavement.
