1980 Chevrolet Suburban Additional Info:

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A 1997 NOT A 1980...EBAYS SYSTEM WONT TAKE THE VIN!! sO i HAD TO ENTER A YEAR BELOW 1981. THE VIN IS: 3GNFK16ROVG161927 AND THIS SUBURBAN WAS MADE IN 4/97 PER THE DOOR TAG.

1997 Suburban 4x4. Low miles just turned 134,000 and it runs great. Looks great for its age too. Its a 1997 so dont expect it to be new, but its very presentable and looks very good IMO. Its had new brake lines put on it by a PO and it has new front brakes (new pads and rotors). The battery is a heavy duty battery and maintains a good charge. The tires are decent and theres pics os front and rears. There is knobbies on the back and all season tires on the front and they are all the same size as you must have on a 4x4. The brakes work good but the ABS is deactivated due to bad sensors on the hubs I think. The ABS control module was replaced but the ABS still needs work. I personally hate ABS so I didnt care when I bought it...and I still dont LOL. The brakes work great as they are...just no ABS. The sensors are $10 bucks a side if you wanna replace them. As I said I personally dont like ABS so it never bothered me.

This is a used Suburban but its still real nice. I got it for my dad to drive as his Dodge trucks tranny went out on it...and the day I brought this to him....he had gone and bought another truck which IMO isnt as nice as this Suburban. But he wanted a truck not a Suburban so I wound up with this one and its "extra" for me...and I dont need an extra truck.

It has power windows and door locks and they both work. The heater works great also. The lights all work. The turn signals all work but the drivers side flashes faster than the passenger side...all the lamps work though...so Im not sure why its faster on one side...that usually means a bulb is burnt out but as I said they all work. The license plate lights both work, the dash lights work and the dome lights work. The AC light comes on when you turn it on but the compressor cycles...which usually means it's low on freeon, but it comes on. The blower motor works and it blows good heat. The air bag light is on not sure why.

No smoke from the engine (which is the Vortec) and the tranny is good. It doesnt over heat and runs really well. Starts right up every time! It goes into 4 wheel drive and it does work. Ive had to use it once so I know it works but I dont drive it around in 4 wheel drive. Ive put a few 100 miles on it and its driven great for me.

This belonged to a fire department...yes the lights, the siren and the PA all still work BUT unless you are an official emergency officer you can get in big trouble running the lights because you are late for dinner :-) but they are cool and if you are a V fireman...the setup is over a grand installed. It also has an LED light bar on the front...and man does it ever work great!! Its like 10X what your bright headlights will do...it works great!! They arent cheap either...this one was prob $200. I live in the country and deer are a real problem out here...when that light bar is on I can see EVERYTHING for a long ways!! Its really powerful.

The pics show the truck pretty good. It has some small dings here and there but nothing bad and the paint is still intact...typical door ding type cosmetic things youd expect on an older vechile. If you need more pics let me know, IMO its a good looking Suburban...I dont see any rust on it...theres no holes in it ect that I can see. Comes with a good spare tire and the jack also.
It has a nice JVC CD audio head in it and new Pioneer speakers in the rear...it sounds really good and there is an AUX input so you can use your phone or whatever device you have to hook up your personal tunes into the system. Pretty nice setup.

This Suburban has a clear Ohio title, the mileage is actual...and it's NOT a slavage title. Its located in Bloomingburg OH 43106. All pickup arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the buyer. I will assist your car hauler if you want to send a carrier for it but you can drive it home if youd rather do that...as I said it runs real decent.

A $500 deposit is required if you are the winner via paypal to secure the transaction for you. If no deposit is made, its not yours yet and it could sell to someone else. This is also listed locally and if it sells I may end the auction early. Theres been lots of calls but no lookers yet...Im sure if someone does come see it, it'll be gone but if its listed here....its still available. The balance can be sent either wire transfer to my bank or I will also accept USPS money orders. As always, cash in person is always the best payment method IMO :-)

Thanks for looking...and good luck!
This Suburban runs and drives great but as with any used car there is no warranty expressed or implied of any kind. I have tried to note issues I have found with this Suburban however it is impossible for me to disclose things I am unaware of or to note things that may need replaced that I was not aware of. After driving it 300+ miles Im confident its a sound truck and nothing is needing "fixed" at this time to be able to drive it. As with any used vechile you may find things you want to do but your not going to show up here expecting to drive it home and cant do so. Id not hesitate to drive it anywhere. Please ask any and all questions before you bid.
