Torque meets the pavement through a chrome-trimmed 700R4 4-speed, which spins a factory rear axle. That massaged drivetrain rides a restored double A-arm front and 3-link rear suspension. That suspension's handling is greatly enhanced by a power-assisted CPP steering gear. Quick stops are provided by power-assisted discs and drums. And all that old school Americana rolls on 17-inch Ridlers, which spin Nexen N5000s. Installed during the detailed restoration, this Impala's monochromatic interior has been restored to factory-fresh condition in virtually every way.
