1971 Chevrolet Chevelle -- Additional Info:
Up for bid is a 1971 Chevy Malibu Chevelle. This is NOT a numbers matching car. I repeat, it is NOT a numbers matching car. The big block 454 came from a Chevy pick-up truck. Therefor I am not sure of the exact miles on this motor. When I got the car it had been sitting for some time. I have put in a brand new gas tank, brand new radiator, all new copper/nickel brake lines, new master cylinder, new proportioning valve, new brakes, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and points. I took the quadrajet off and put on a Carter 4bbl. It has a 400 automatic for a transmission that shifts as it should. Tires on the car I bought brand new and they might have 10 miles on them, if that. It has the boxed 4 link 12 bolt rear end. SS cowl induction hood. SS tac dash. SS rear bumper. As far as being drivable it will still need a little work. The wiring needs some attention from the critters who hung out in it while it was sitting. I also found out when I put the new radiator in it will need a heater core. Will need exhaust ran. Currently has open headers. This car is located in Canton Ohio. 10 minutes South of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Buyer is responsible for pick up. If you would be interested in seeing the car before buying arrangements can be made. Below is a YouTube video link of the car. Any questions please ask and I will do my best to answer. I really wish I could keep and finish this car. Just purchased a home that needs a lot of attention so sadly she's gotta go.https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Hy0q3KgLjLk
