1941 Chevrolet 1/2 ton truck
I am the third owner. Second owner only had it for a few months. Truck spent the rest of its life on a Wyoming ranch. I purchased it because it has never been messed with. All steel original. Rust worthy of mentioning is on driver’s door bottom. Charming if you ask me. Floors are super clean light surface only. Windows go up and down with a little help. Glass is original. Bed is original. Windscreen cranks smooth. Original 216 and four speed that has been rebuilt according to engine tag. It runs like a sewing machine quiet and smooth. Transmission shifts like butter. Front end rebuilt. Goes down the road strait. Tires are new correct Firestones (very expensive) on period artillery wheels maybe 200 miles on them. Seats appear to have original upholstery. It has the coveted heater. Front running lights correct glass originals. Wipers there and move. Head, tail and brake lights work. Gauges are not connected. Aftermarket temp gauge installed. I replaced the carb with a dyno tuned correct unit. Starter, coil, battery, fuel pump new within six months. New correct floor mat/sound deadener and shift boot. New tail pipe and muffler. California registered 1941 plates/topper included. I run nursery deliveries and park it in front of my business - great for advertising. Being a fanatic for authenticity, I made the wood side racks from black locust stumps, 1890s VG Redwood barn material and period correct hardware. I have never washed it- only blown off with air. Comes with extra set of stock steel wheels and hubcaps. Oil bath air cleaner included. Sweet Montana key fob included. Other suprise treats as well. 1940s Navajo horse blanket included. Needs to be rewired and emergency brake cable replaced to be safe. Small oil leak somewhere. Passenger running board beat up, could be replaced or not. No cardboard glovebox or headliner. Ignition switch is marine grade aftermarket. Its an old pickup so expect dings, scratches and imperfections. PLAN ON TRAILERING.
