1985 Chevrolet K10 Silverado 4x4 Additional Info:
This 1985 Chevrolet K10 Silverado 4x4 looks like it rolled off the assembly line, only to be transported from the mid-'80s to the present to handle whatever challenges you might want to throw its way. It's a great looking truck - rugged and brimming with classic style - and still carries its original colors to go along with road readiness both on and off the asphalt. The light blue metallic shade draped over its exterior has almost certainly received a refresher over the years, as it's looking shinier and more even than a 30-plus-year-old paint job should. To a very impressive extent, this '85 looks just as it did when it took its first bow and has done so not as a mere "survivor" but rather a "thriver." That rectangular shaped front grille looks very clean, with its collection of lights at its corners as it sits over a sturdy looking front bumper showing no signs of running afoul of anything in its way - even though this truck looks like it would certainly get the better of things. It has a very finished looking presence, with sharp "Silverado" badging on its front fenders and stretches of clean chrome trim on its sides and tailgate. The aggressive cowl induction scoop on its hood provides great, high-performance look, and the substantial amount of clearance surrounding its four tires help you get the most out of its 4-wheel drive capabilities. The Silverado interior inside the doors was the top tier option when this K10 rolled off the line, and it's in good form here, striking a nice balance of comfort for everyday driving, but not looking at all out of place at a worksite. Just as is the case with the exterior, the bench seat looks like it did when this truck began its service, with a combination of cloth and vinyl over its surface showing no real ill effects from wear and sitting over plenty of padding underneath to make even the longest of road trips comfortable. The dash area is in good order, with a set of gauges that look surprisingly clear in their contrasting chrome cluster and a dash pad on top that shows no splits or discoloration. A couple of other comfort features are part and parcel of this truck's upgraded Silverado: its power door locks and windows. Raise the cover in back and you'll find that it's well supported by its struts and the spacious bed underneath has been well-protected by its liner - it shows some residual discoloration from real world usage, but there are no signs of abuse inside its walls. A 350 cubic inch V8, armed with an Edelbrock intake and 4-barrel carb and breathing out a pair of long tube headers, provides the power to propel this rolling workhorse. It's paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission that runs through its gears with precision and whose overdrive is a nice added benefit for low-revs on the highway. Power steering and power brakes provide the road manners you're looking for in everyday driving, and with a simple flick of the lever sitting inside on the transmission tunnel, 4-wheel drive is activated - this truck has plenty of wheel clearance to take advantage of everything the road less travelled might offer. This clean looking, able-bodied pickup sits on a set of 15" wheels outfitted with BF Goodrich T/A radials. Whether you're looking for a daily driving truck with classic curb appeal or want to create some great memories off the asphalt, this 1985 Chevrolet K10 Silverado 4x4 is up to the challenge.
