1951 Chevrolet Other Additional Info:
Stock 1951 Chevy Styleline Deluxe Sport Coupe. I bought from the son of the original owner. Replaced gas tank and sender and battery. Found an original radio that works. Tires are great. Some glass is cracked. Was painted some years back and still shows really nice with a few chips . Runs great! Engine was overhauled when car was painted. Engine leaks some oil...guessing rear seal. The interior is mostly original including the headliner which has a few holes in it. Gauges work except the speedometer which was working now it doesn't. Heater has been bypassed. Floor pans and trunk are great. Frame is solid. The driver side inner rocker panel has rot in it. Car has some bondo in it but a magnet sticks everywhere so maybe some dent repair. Horn doesn't work. I have fender skirts for both sides also.I drive this almost daily in summer, really turns heads! Everyone has a story about one of these.216 cubic inch engine, not sure if its original, runs great.3speed manual transmission on the column, 3 on the tree.Manual steering and manual brakes.Nice old car that would be great for v-8 conversion or hot rod. This car is 67 years old so there are a lot of imperfections.
