Selling my 1959 Big Back Window Short Wheelbase Fleetside.

I have owned it for 6 years. I did all of the work on the truck. It has a clear Texas title in my name.

The truck is in very good shape for a 59 pickup. It has original sheet metal. It is on a stock frame that has been modified for air ride. It is a cool truck that could be great with a little work. It is not perfect but is fun to drive and show.

Body:

Factory Sheet metal with standard patches at cab corners, fender bottoms and rockers

Bed had no rust. Stake pockets were shaved. Bed rails are notched for tires.

No Rot around window frames before paint.

What it needs:

Passenger door Bottom hinge bracket is stripped on the door side. Needs repair.

Tranny needs OD switch. Needs fuel gauge. Has a battery drain I cannot find. Needs to be fixed.

No wipers, no heater, no A/C. Has small oil leaks and needs pan gasket and or rear seal.

Front bag valves switched to electric. They work now just need upgrade.(Will provide valves)

Rear bumper installed. Have the bumper but no brackets.

The truck runs and drives fine. I have driven to shows 150 miles away. It tracks well and it stops very food. When aired out, the front tires will rub. I air it up when I need to make sharp turns. It sits flat on the rockers. I installed 2 cab length angles under the frame to keep it from dragging the rockers off. I have a set of wide whites that can be purchased with the truck. I have included a pic with them installed. Wide Whites are not included in this auction.

Money will need to be exchanged before the truck leaves my hands. Cash or funds through Chase or Bank of America will work best. Paypal is fine if you pay the fees. If you arrange shipping. I can work with your shipper. It could be delivered within 250 miles of Houston for a fee, (Deposit required) I will trailer it to you.
