1963 Chevrolet Nova 4 door 2 row wagon Additional Info:
This is a 63 Nova, 4 door 2 row wagon. It has a pretty clean body. There is a little rust in the front 2 doors. The quarters are good. I don't see any rust in the dog legs, or trunk extensions. There is some rust in the tailgate, but it is definitely repairable. I bought this car on CL, a few months ago. I wanted to do a little body work and paint it. I do my own work. A pending back operation is preventing me from working on the car. But you can certainly drive it as is.
This Nova has had a ton of things done to it. It has a Church Boys lower control arm kit $599. It has front disc brakes. it has a Ford Explorer rear with disc brakes, 327 gears and a locker, with new carrier bearings.. It has new exhaust and Hooker Super Comp headers. It has new floors welded in, (nice job). It has welded subframe connectors. It has a rebuilt turbo 350 with 1800 stall converter. Fiberglass cowl hood. Billet grill. It has leather seats, I was told from a S10 Blazer. It also has the tilt column from it. Edelbrock carb. Holley intake. Mild cam. HEI distributor, AED billet throttle linkage bracket. Summit oil, water, volt gauges. Auto Meter Super Comp tach. JVC radio and CD player. Tires have good tread on them. Has rear air shocks, they have a leak, probably a line.
I never got around to putting the car on the road. I driven it up and down the street a couple of times. Runs ok, but it has been sitting. I have two other projects, I may never finish. (back operation). It was on the road when I got it. The lights, directionals, wipers work. It still has the 2018 NY inspection sticker on it.
It as a NY transferable registration card. No titles in NY in 1963. Some one at the DMV typed in Suburban once over the years. But the vin decodes as a 1963 4 door, wagon, with 2 row seating. Which is exactly what this car is. Vin tag looks completely original.
