GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1972 Chevrolet Blazer for your consideration. This Blazer was originally yellow but is now vinyl wrapped in Satin Frozen Grey along with Black Leather interior. Optioned with the 350ci V8 with an Auto Trans that was rebuilt 2 1/2 years ago, this Blazer is a real trip off the pavement. This Blazer is equipped with; front disk brakes, A/C, power steering, working heater, an aftermarket radio and steering wheel. The K5 was... a highly desired car back in the 70's and the love for them is still here today, it runs and drives smooth and transmission shift flawlessly. Truly a treat to drive on the weekends and attend shows with. Please call or email us today for more information. The K5 Blazer was the smallest full-size SUV version of the Chevrolet C/K family. Introduced to the Chevrolet line in 1969, the full-size K5 Blazer was replaced in 1994 by the Chevrolet Blazer. In 1970, GMC introduced its own model of the truck, called the Jimmy, which was discontinued in 1991 and replaced by the GMC Yukon in 1994. Both were based on the short wheelbase trucks and were available with either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. The Blazer's long wheelbase relative (with an integrated rear body, and doors for 2nd row passengers) is known as the Chevrolet Suburban. The "Jimmy" name was chosen to reflect the GM may sound in a similar manner in how Jeep was thought to be a pronunciation of GP in the competing market.
