1969 Chevrolet C-10 Additional Info:
This short wheel base1969 Chevy C10 is a great example of a well preserved original sheet metal truck with none of the rust you would expect from a truck this old. It did have a respray many years back and now has enough chips, surface rust, and dings to give it that "Killer Patina Look" without having to get a tetanus shot to get near it like some of the others you see listed.
The truck has been lowered with springs and spindles and a C-notch was added to the rear so it will still function as a pickup truck.
The truck is rolling on a set of 20 inch front and 22 inch rear Boss wheels with excellent tires
The engine is a 5.3 liter vortec which has the addition of an intake tube and headers. Engine functions and gauges are run through an Insight CTS2 engine monitoring system which gives you touch screen access to all engine and transmission functions.
The transmission is a 4l60e over drive unit which gives you great highway gearing for the long haul.
The fuel tank and pump have been relocated to under the bed of the truck and a fuel door assembly from Hogan's Street Rods has been grafted into the bed for easy refueling.
An aluminum radiator with electric fans keeps the truck running cool as would be expected.
2.5 inch dual exhaust gives it that perfect Hot Rod sound.
Power disc brakes are added to the front
The vehicle is also equipped with power steering
The truck is a great everyday cruiser which turns head almost anywhere you take it, It just came back from a weekend 500 mile round trip with no issues.
Please ask if more pictures are needed I have downsized to a condo and keeping this garaged in a storage bin just doesn't make sense to me.
The vehicle is also listed locally and shipping is the responsibility of the buyer
