1978 Chevrolet Nova Additional Info:
ThisNovawas purchased from the dealership brand new in 1978 and has remained in the family since. It still has the original saddle brown paint job. It's been garage parked and only has 70k original miles on it, with less than 2k miles on a custom built small block chevy motor. The motor was built to the specs of the popular nascar rule inspired small block 365. The invoice for the motor build is included in the pictures. The motor fires right up and has a new custom exhaust and mufflers needed to match the output of the Edelbrock Performer RPM high rise manifold and matching performance Edelbrock Carburetor. The motor runs nice and cool through the new aluminum radiator. Despite all the motor upgrades the car is very drivable, but has more than enough power when you decide to put your foot in it. It has the original 3-speed automatic transmission.
The body is very straight and the pictures show how well it's been taken care of. Trunk has original padding, original spare, original jack and is in great shape, There is some surface rust showing on the inner wheel wells and the usual surface rust on the underside (see pictures). Some of the weather stripping has deteriorated as expected. The seats have been professionally recovered and the interior is in overall good condition, headlines, dash, door panels all in great shape. The last picture shows the cracked section by the heather control. The car also has an great stereo system, with a detachable face Kenwood deck, multiple disc changer, a Kenwood amplifier and box with subwoofers in the trunk. Tires are in great shape and the battery is brand new.
This classic would be a great restoration project, or kept as a driver. Its reliable and could even be driven to its new home. The car really is nice and the Vin# and title history will confirm this. It has a clean title and no liens. Ive bought and sold several classic cars on Ebay and you will see from my feedback that my opinion of a vehicle's condition has been very accurate. Ive taken pictures to show pretty much every angle of the car and the importance places that these older vehicles typically have issues and this one is clean. Totally open and welcome to have potential buyers come drive the car, inspect the car for yourself, or have an inspection company come look at it for you if you need to have it shipped. Ive recently inquired with a few shipping companies and it obviously depends on the distance, but the average was $800-$1,200. If your in the market for this kind of vehicle and looking for a classic to enjoy don't miss the opportunity to own this one!
Having purchased several vehicles online I realize its sometimes difficult, so if you have any questions please send them and Im happy to get the info your looking for.
