1963 Chevrolet Corvair Additional Info:
1963 Corvair Monza Spyder with 32,000 miles (equipped with a 5 digit odometer, so 132,000 maybe 232,000) finished in Ivy Green with Fawn interior. The turbocharged engine is equipped with a single DCOE Weber 45 and straight pipe exhaust, an electronic/petronix distributor with a vacuum advance pressure retard diaphragm and external oil cooler. The body and paint are rough, but with very little rust. Lots of new parts recently installed. The wheels are 15x7 steel smoothies with 215/60r15 tires. Most of the original gauges work with the exception of the cylinder head temp and a fuel level gauge that has a mind of it's own at times. A collection of aftermarket gauges have been installed, including volts gauge, dual cylinder head temp, dual oil temp/pressure and a narrowband air/fuel ratio gauge. The interior is original and in rough shape.
The car comes with a collection of books and extra parts.
I've owned this car since 2006 and have enjoyed driving it regularly; fixing or replacing things as needed, improving and maintaining. The car is far from perfect but would a great restoration or restomod project for someone.
