This 1972 Chevrolet C10 pickup is the kind of vehicle that gets attention without being obvious about it. Maybe it's the great classic lines, or maybe it's the extra gloss in the paint, or maybe the sporty stance - no matter what first catches your eye, you can tell that underneath the investments, this classic is still a real truck. The Dark Olive Green isn't outrageously wild like those candy purple or electric blue paint jobs other classics... have received. Instead, it takes an ideal '70s color and adds a hit of nostalgia-like flair with a hint of metallic and the clearcoat glow that comes from a more modern application. So this one fits in with the old-school truck scene, and it also really pops in the sunlight. Nice chrome bumpers, a lowered stance and the modern Ridler wheels (aggressively staggered at 17/18-inches front/rear) offer a street machine attitude. But the wide trailering mirrors and full liner paint in the bed remind you that a good truck needs to know how to get the job done, too. Inside, the green is joined by a tasteful black. You have some nice upgrades like the newer cover on the bench seat made of comfortable cloth. But what will really have you hooked are all the classic elements. This one retains cool pieces like the textured door panel inserts, heat/defrost sliders, and even correct AM radio is still on display. Plus, the skinny dual spoke factory wheel makes sure nothing get in the way of your view of the full gauge panel or the road ahead. The 350 cubic-inch small-block V8 looks terrific as the fresh block paint radiates from within the dark engine bay. Plus, the wires, belts, hoses, and other components look fresh - exactly the kind of maintenance you want in a classic pickup. And this V8 is powerful, too. It has a Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor, Weiand hi-rise aluminum intake, and headers that feed the sweet-sounding dual exhaust. Out on the road, this one has the right driving features you want, including the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, front disc brakes, and the grip of modern street tires. Plus, with a thick sway bar up front and the C10's desirable trailing arm suspension in the rear, this makes for quite a comfortable all-day cruiser. This is a really nice truck that doesn't cut any corners - you even get the original owner's manual. It has the chiseled good looks of a classic bow tie with plenty of muscle to back it up. If there's one thing we have learned, people like quality, and this one doesn't disappoint. Call today!!!
