In 1970 Chevrolet only produced 7,522 Chevelle Convertibles-381 were six cylinder leaving 7,141 possible SS cars.Most of the7,141 were malibus.My GUESS is there were less than 500 SS Convertibles built and probably less than 100 that still exist.And this is a numbers matching engine in a rare color of Cortez silver.That's how rare this car is.
