The Chevy Nova was a completely fresh design by general motors to compete with the growing "compact" car market of the early 60's. The car was built with a uni-body design to compete directly with Ford's Falcon, AMCRambler, and Studebakers Lark. The Nova, also known as the Chevy II, due to its size and lightweight, was soon targeted for performance packages. The Super Sport package came available in 1963, and soon performance versions of Chevy's big and small block V8's... made regular appearances under the hood. To this day, The Chevy Nova is a revered muscle car. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this eye-catching 1973 Chevrolet Nova for your consideration. It is powered by a 350 v8 paired with a 4 speed manual transmission. The motor is new and so is the clutch along with the throw out bearing and shift fork. The flywheel was resurfaced, new speedo cable installed, original factory SS stripe was installed, new motor mounts were also installed. Other highlights include Hooker Headers, 4 barrel carburetor, aluminum intake, power brakes, power steering, Bosch gauges and tachometer, front bucket seats and Clarion CD player and speakers. In 2003 the Nova had $1,250 worth of service done to it including a rebuilt master cylinder, new rotors, new brake lines, new front coil springs, new pitman arm, new steering gear, front end alignment. The car comes with a large folder of work that has been done in recent years as well. This car is very mechanically sound and runs and drives like a dream.
