First of all i want to say this truck was purchased by my head mechanic and he wanted something special, we do many motor swap, old school, many LS conversions, he wanted something specia, so he did a Grand NATIONAL MOTOR SWAP,He did the whole stand alone computor and all stock gauge, he spent a ton on hours andd sweat into this truck. i want to say is a beast for one thing and very reliabl, ...great running machine. the body is solid but not the prettiest. the interior is nice but not super nice. the rest of the truck speaks for itself. if you want something very different and people to notice and have reliability . this is one cool truck, wouldnt take much to take it to its next level THE INFO ON THE TRUCK lc2 (3.8 turbo) swapped 1994 c1500 is going up for sale. Picked up a new project and had my fun with this one. Was in Raleigh NC for the 2018 Hot Rod Power tour Lc2 3.8 turbo engine 2004r factory stall (1800) 3" lt1 maf sensor 3" pipe kit 3"x9" cone filter Factory turbo Factory inner cooler Maf translator Angle boss IAC relocator Casper LED cam sensor cap 160 thermostat billet water neck Egr block off plate ACCUFAB fuel psi regulator set 43# Scanmaster (engine data display, scanner) Turbotweak v5.7 programmable chip Ngk ur5 plugs gapped 30 Msd blue 8mm wires Dakota digital sgi5e Speedo/Ecm calibrator, Transmission pulse generator for speedometer and shift points Auto meter boost gauge LED air/fuel ratio gauge Custom wire harness (plugs into the factory bulkhead connectors and fused to match) Running factory recalibrated truck gauge cluster Custom aluminum intercooler scoop Gn guy at heart, found the lc2 pullout locally with transmission, ecu, wiring. Engine was believed to have just under 80,000 when installed. Heads redone just before I got it. I've put 3000 miles on it with no issues. Oil psi 18-22 idle in gear. 24-28 oil psi idle neutral. Hot It's a rust free no frills work truck from Texas, Now in NC. 220,000 miles. Was a 4.3 v6, 5 speed manual. Lowered 2” front with factory sway bar, rear 4” with sway bar added. 15”x10” rally wheels with SS trim rings and center caps. 275/60/15 tires all the way around. Factory disc/drum brakes. Interior has typical wear. Dash top is cracked in multiple areas, but the carpet dash cover, covers all. Has 2001 Toyota seats, driver side is power, S-10 center console with shifter and aftermarket overhead shelf. Dash lights have been changed from green to white LED, and tinted over lens for a modern look. Heater control lights now LED with red lens to match surrounding gauges. Windshield is cracked (had intended on fixing the dash with a plastic overlay while the glass was out) Tinted side and back glass, marks in tint. Body is in decent shape. No rust in or under this truck. Has a few dings, driver side door by the mirror is the biggest issue. Clear coat is coming off, roof painted black before getting rusty. Front emblem and reflectors painted black. Rebadged outside with factory “Buick” (Turbo 3.8) and (Turbocharged) emblems. Roll up tonneau cover. Everyone is doing ls swaps, (done a few myself) didn't want to follow the crowd on this. Wasn't built to be sold. Was my daily driver/shop truck at first. Then life got busy and picked up a new project. No track times or hp numbers. Wasn't built for that but always been curious myself. But no running or drivability issues.
