1969 Chevrolet Camaro Additional Info:
If you want a head turning car this is for you.If you don't like people always coming up to you at the gas pump and fawning over your car every time, or you don't like the noise the cars make at the drag races, this car might not be for you.If you plan on letting your wife drive it you better be secure in your marriage because this car has men (some women) gather around it at every stop.
This is a 1969 Camaro 350 upgraded to a 383 stroker engine. The perfect burnout machine if you want, I don't care for burnouts except at red lights. Engine compartment is show quality, interior is original and really great shape but needs a couple things. The console cigarette tray lid is broke but I have a new console to put in I just haven't gotten around to it but it goes with the car. Wipers and horn don't work, again I have the parts for the horn and all the equipment is there for the wipers but again I haven't looked into it, and I don't drive if theres clouds in the sky. The odometer doesn't work, but the speed and tac work perfectly. The body looks good to most people but I'm particular. It needs some rough spots fixed from the last body work and a new show quality paint job, but most people don't see the flaws. Under carriage is good a couple small leaks I blame on the shift kit not worth fixing at this point to me. I had a pro shop put disc brakes all the way around after I got it, It stops on a dime and doesn't pull. I have a pair of wide street legal slicks on the back now but new directional in storage for every day but drives better than my wife's Mercedes even with the slicks on, straight aways need no hands on the wheel.
The rumble this car makes is strong and shakes my house when I start it in the garage.Starts easy and idles perfectly. Sounds like a dragster waiting for the green light.Listed below are the upgrades. This baby runs and drives fantastic. It is an SS clone (tribute) and badged.
