1972 Chevrolet Nova Twin Turbo LS Additional Info:
This is a 1972 Nova with a 5.3L Twin Turbo LS engine. Twin 35R turbos with ss v band exhaust housings, turbo cam, Corvette 243 cylinder head castings (no sodium filled valves), LS9 head gaskets, ARP head studs, Sniper intake, 102mm big mouth throttle body, 160lb injectors, Holley EFI running on E85. Car made 830hp at the crank with 21lbs of boost. Although never used yet, the car is equipped with a CO2 system as seen between seats which if turned on has the capability to push boost up to 24-25lbs to make even more power, just like Street Outlaws do. Full custom stainless 3 inch exhaust with x pipe and SS Borla mufflers with tails dumping behind rear wheels. Mosier 9 inch with a Quick Performance heavy duty center section including Daytona pinion and billet 1350 yokes, aluminum driveshaft, 33 spline axles, Wilwood disc brakes, Caltrac split mono leafs with Caltrac traction bars and shocks, subframe connectors as well. Front disc brakes, they are Aerospace setup. Caltrac front shocks. Magnafuel 750 fuel pump with billet filters for E85 before and after the pump, 16 gal fuel cell with gauge, meth injection system automatically controlled by itself with adjustable map sensor on boost pipe which is currently set to come on at 9lbs of boost. Everything is new, this is a beautiful car top to bottom. The car runs, looks and drives awesome. Sounds awesome not obnoxious and loud, step to floor and hear the turbos sing. The car cruises on the highway at 65mph turning 2500-2600 rpm and can still rip a high 9 second pass in the 1/4 mile, thanks to the sweet combo of the glide gearing and 3.10:1 Nascar ring and pinion setup. Can get in it and take wife/kids out for a cruise or drag race it, a great all around hot rod. Built Powerglide with billet helical cut gears, heavy duty internals, a Circle D Billet converter, trans brake, Ultra bell, deep aluminum pan, full manual reverse valve body with turbo cheetah shifter, trans is capable of standing up to 1500hp. Line lock as well. Racepac digital dash with carbon fiber custom surround. Interior is all new except for original door panels and headliner which are nice as well. Hood is a steel Goodmark with carbon fiber wrap looks great. Arizona car, original floors, bottom is as clean as the top side, powdercoated front clip and satin black floors all way back to rear bumper. A ton of money and time in this car, done right, no hack work here, attention to detail all around. Chevy bright red paint at just about 9 out of 10. Doors, hood, trunk close nice and easy.
