1963 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:
1963 Corvette vintage race car project. This car was designed, built, and intended for racing purposes only and is not licensed or legal for street operation. The car has no title and will be sold with a bill of sale as conveyance of ownership.
The body of the car appears to be 63-64 Corvette. Many body panels are detachable and are held in place with quick release Dzus fasteners. The frame of the car is from a 1975 Corvette. I do have the bill of sale for the frame when the car was built.
The engine is a 1971 Chevy 350 with the engine code: V 0615 CGR. CGR engine codes were used on 1971 Camaro Z/28 cars. Block casting number is 3970010, the date code appears to be F 8 1. Intake is a Holley Street Dominator. Heads are 3991492, with A 24 5 date codes and are equipped with Manley 150 roller rockers. Transmission is a Borg Warner T 10 4 speed. The engine was running strong before the car was put in storage. This is project race car with a lot of potential but it will need complete restoration.
I have owned the car for about 14 years and have too many projects so it's time to let this one go. For more information on the car please call 903-720-8250.
