1956 CHEVY 210 POST CAR.
THE GOOD STUFF...CAR RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT, 355 SMALL BLOCK, ALUMINUM HEADS, ALUMINUM INTAKE, ALUMINUM WATER PUMP, EDELBROCK CARBURATOR W/ELECTRIC CHOKE, FLOWMASTER MUFFLERS WITH OUT THE BACK EXHAUST. 700R4 TRANS WITH LOCKUP CONVERTER, AND NEW DRIVE SHAFT. RUNS 180 DEGREES ALL DAY LONG. NEW BATTERY, LOCATED IN TRUNK WITH BATTERY SHUT OFF.
HEIDTS DROP SPINDLES WITH CPP FRONT DISC BRAKES. FRONT AND REAR CPP SWAY BARS. CPP POWER BOOSTER AND DUAL MASTER CYLINDER. HAS SMALL RECEIVER HITCH I USED TO TOW TEAR DROP TRAILER.
NOW FOR THE BAD......, CAR WAS PAINTED 35 YEARS AGO AND THE PAINT IS TOAST. BODY HAS RUST. THERE ARE SPOTS IN THE FLOOR, ROCKERS, DOORS, TRUNK, EYEBROWS, ETC. THE FRAME IS SOLID WITH ZERO RUST. THE CAR NEEDS A COMPLETE RESTORATION.
I TOOK CAR TO A LOCAL BODY SHOP TO HAVE THE BODY AND PAINT DONE. AFTER A YEAR, ALL THAT SEEM TO GET DONE WAS SOME TRIM REMOVAL. AT THIS POINT I JUST WANTED MY CAR BACK. MOST OF THE TRIM AND BATTERY HAD MYSTERIOUSLYDISAPPEARED. I INSTALLED A NEW BATTERY AND DROVE IT HOME. IM OVER IT, IVE LOST ALLMOTIVATION AND INTEREST.
THE CAR DRIVES GREAT AND COULD BE DAILY DRIVEN AS IS, BUT REALLY NEEDS TO BE RESTORED.
IF THE CAR SELLS TO A CALIFORNIA BUYER, I WILL HELP BRING REGISTATION CURRENT.
