THIS IS A COMBINATION OF A ORIGINAL UNRESTORED CAR AND A FRAME OFF RESTORED CAR WITH SOME NEW AND MOST ALL ORIGINAL PARTS FROM THE FACTORY. NOT CLAIMING THIS IS 100% ALL ORIGINAL BUT IT IS AS CLOSE AS YOU CAN GET TO A UNMOLESTED ORIGINAL 59 BODY AND METAL AND PAINT. THIS '59 IS A MATCHING NUMBERS "TRIM TAG" CAR. IT IS CODE 973D FOR THE ORIGINAL ROMAN RED /SNOWCREST WHITELACQUER PAINT, AND THE INTERIOR IS THECODE 809 TRI-SILVER COLORS. VIN NUMBER IS CORRECT FOR A V8 CAR "F" CODE, 59S, 1959 ST LOUIS, MO.PRODUCTION PLANT AND TRIM TAG "SL" BODYCODE, ST LOUIS, MO.PLANT. THE CARIS EQUIPPED WITHA 348 BIG BLOCK V8 FOUR BARREL WITH A THREE SPEED ON THE COLUMN, MANUAL TRANSMISSION WITH OVER DRIVE THAT HAS BEEN COMPLETLY AND THOROUGHLY GONE THREW IN 7-2017. THE ENTIRE FRONT END WAS REMOVED AND THE BODY REMOVED FROM THE FRAME FOR A COMPLETE "FRAME OFF" UNDERCARRIAGE DETAILED RESTORTION. FLOORS AND BRACES AND ALL FRAME AND PIECES ALL DISASSEMBLED AND ALL RESTORED & PAINTED IN CORRECT DETAILS TO FACTORY SPECTS UNDERSIDE. BEAUTIFUL FLOORS, BRACES, ROCKERS, MAIN FLOORS, TRUNK PAN, FIREWALL, ALL DETAILED AS A FACTORY PERFECT NEW CAR WOULD HAVE COME. CANT SAY ENOUGH HOW NICE THE OVERALL GM METAL IS ON THIS CAR. HE COULD HAVE REPAINTED THE CAR, BUT THE ORIGINALITY IS "PRESERVED" AS BEST AS POSSIBLE WITH THIS ONE. DOORS SHUT LIKE NEW, ALL WINDOWS OPERATE FINE.
POT METAL ON THE CAR IS LIKE NEW AROUND THE WINDOWS! ALL THE WINDOWS ARE CLEAN & CLEAR WITH NO FOG OR CRACKS, EZ-EYE TINTED GLASS, EVEN A ORIGINAL FRONT WINDSHIELD WITH NO BAD CHIPS AT ALL, UNBELIEVABLE CONDITION FOR A FRONT WINDOW!!!
THE INTERIOR IS 100% ALL ORIGINAL, HEADLINER, CARPET, SEATS, DOOR PANELS. THE DOOR PANELS ARE THE WEAKEST PART OF THE CAR, AS THEY HAVE CURLED BOTTOMS BUT CAN BE ADDRESSED WITH CLEAR COVERS. THE SEATS ARE ORIGINAL MATERIAL COVERED WITH SEAT COVERS AND THEN COVERED WITH CLEAR SEAT COVERS! KINDA MILKY CLEAR COVERS, BUT ORIGINAL, CANT TOUCH THAT! DASH IS CLEAN AND ALL ORIGINAL. RADIO WORKS FAN WORKS ALL AIR LEVERS WORK WITH EASE LIKE NEW. HEATER BOX IS BY-PASSED DUE TO SITTING IN STORAGE FOR YEARS, ALL MUSEUM CARS HAVE THIS DONE FOR STORAGE.A EASY HOOK UP IF NEEDED, HOSES ARE ALL THERE AND GOOD.
