I have a Beautifully restored 454SS with a LS Conversion. Runs and drives awesome. 67269 original miles. Almost everything on this truck is new. I will try to list most of it. The pictures will show you how nice this is. Over 30K has been spent on paint and full restoration/conversion to a LS2 Motor and Transmission. The motor came from a 2005 GTO with a 4L65e 4 Speed transmission. The engine is like new with 200 psi across all cylinders and runs at 42 psi of oil pressure going down the road, 26 psi at idle. The engine made 370 RWHP and over 400 ft lbs of torque on a Mustang Dyno.
This truck gets 18 MPG going down the road at 80 mph. The engine has a LS6 intake., headers valve covers, coil relocation brackets and all new gaskets, otherwise all stock. All engine accessories are new GM parts including the alternato, water and power steering pumps, belt and oil pump. The Air Conditioner is all new including hoses, condenser, evaporato, relays, switches and a modernized Sanden compressor that runs very quiet compared to the original R4. Super cold air. The radiator is a Be Cool 4 core aluminum with new dual electric fans. New suspension, new brakes, including master cylinder rotor, calipers, pads shoes and lines. New VHX gauges, New rims and tires, New cowl induction hood. New paint, bed cover with a reversed handle on the tailgate. New stereo, amp and speakers. new carpet with dyno mat underlayment, and very comfortable Corbeau adjustable seats. drop in bed liner. New windshield. I'm sure I have missed some things.
Again over 30K was invested in this truck. Wife says it has to go. My Loss your gain. This is truly a very nice, fast and smooth going down the road truck. No issues.
