BECAUSE LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO DRIVE A BORING CAR!! The Classic Car Gallery 2316 Fairfield Ave, Bridgeport, Ct 06605 203-446-3477 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS396 “Fanatically restored to the highest level with the highest level of originality. Fully sorted, near showroom condition”. VIN 13679B325319 The car on offer here is a stunning 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS396. The car underwent a 3 year restoration from 2007-2010 and has only been used as a garage queen and show car since. This car... is the “real deal” and must be one of the finest on the market. It is painted in its original Lemans Blue with its original Parchment colored Interior. The restoration was comprehensive and included the following; Full engine rebuild (original engine) (Lawler machines) Transmission (m21 not original) rear end (3:55 gears) Restored interior (parchment) Restored Dash including bezels and gauges engine compartment fully detailed. New Brakes including Calipers, rotors, lines and pads Restored suspension Restored rear control arms (F41 Suspension) New fuel system including tank, lines and pumps Wheels correct down to caps Rebuilt Steering column and box Restored wiper motors and assembly Underside detailed and restored. All nuts and bolts refinished and replated All trim and rubber replaced All gauges were rebuilt and the odometer was zeroed out (it shows 1040 miles since the restoration). The restoration was undertaken with a fanatic eye towards originality; NOS parts were used, and where possible, original parts were restored rather than replaced. The engine compartment and interior, likewise, were done to the highest level of originality; even the hoses and electrics have all correct coding. The restoration was done to the last detail, down to original clamps and fasteners. The only concession to modern materials, was the use of better modern finishes on the painted surfaces. The entire car is very correct, solid and straight. The only thing not original to the car is the windshield (a date coded 1971) and the right front fender which is a NOS ( it did not have the hole for the radio antenna and I did not want to detract from the look of the car so it was not redrilled); the windshield for a 71 Chevelle had the antenna in it so the problem was solved (also makes it easier to put the car cover on!!). During the restoration, the gauges were either rebuilt or replaced, odometer was zeroed out, it shows 1,045 miles since restoration. Bid with confidence as this car us welll sorted and is one of the finest Chevelle’s SS 396’s on the market today. Please feel free to call 203-446-3477 or email we can answer any of your questions.
