1976 Chevrolet Crew Cab (3+3) Dually Pickup Truck - Squarebody

Located in Cedarburg, WI - about 30 minutes north of Milwaukee

VIN: CCS346Z113676

  • 4X2 with dual rear wheels
  • 8 foot bed
  • Dual fuel tanks
I have owned the truck about 2 years and have driven it about 4,000 miles, it is now time for someone else to enjoy it.

California truck for most of its life. Clean and clear Wisconsin title.

The truck currently has about 130,200 miles.

Engine:

  • The engine is a fuel injected 454 V8 with a Whipple supercharger. Runs nice and smooth, provides plenty of power. This truck drives like a much newer truck. This truck spent most of its life as a shop truck for Eclipse Engineering (who built it) out of Whittier California. Engine has about 30-40k on it.

Transmission:

  • 4L80-E Automatic with 6 speed valve body. Similar to what TCI transmissions sells. Stand alone electronic transmission controller.

Differential:

  • 4.10 rear axle

Paint:

  • Matte Black or Primer Black. Flames are real and were painted by Santini Paint.

Everything else:

  • Air Conditioning
  • Alcoa wheels with good tires
  • Opto-timer adjustable timing
  • Hydro boost brakes
  • Trailer brake controller
  • Holes for 5th wheel mount, wiring is already there
  • New battery, new windshield
  • I have the original steering wheel and dash panel, they will come with the truck
  • I also have a sleeper cab that was originally on the truck, it will also come with the truck at the new owners request (see photos for a visual).

The bad:

  • Over the winter the paint cracked away on the hood, I suspect the hood shrunk with the cold Wisconsin weather. There is now surface rust on the hood. I figured the next owner can decide if they want to clear what is there (the truck was originally red, so there is a cool red, white, black patina thing going on) or repaint the entire truck.
  • Some surface rust in other areas - small spots on lower sills (see photos) but is all solid.
  • I replaced the passenger rear fender with one from Classic Industries (previous owner cracked the original). It is not an exact fit (or shade of black) but is pretty close.
  • A/C might have a slight refrigerant leak.

The good:

Almost every time I have this truck out on the road I have someone give me a thumbs up and I often have people in store parking lots and gas stations come up to me to talk about it. People love this truck.
