1968 Chevrolet Camaro Additional Info:

Selling A 1969 Camaro SS, no reserve, high bid gets it.

First, let me start out by saying that I did not build or built the whole car. Here is The story behind this beautiful car, I got the car from another friend of mine who he bought it from one of his co-workers going through a divorce (tough time eh?!) Anyways, all I know is what I had been told.

Let’s start out with the engine, it is a 383 stroker crate motor, estimated at 500hp, the engine never seen driving miles since installed and finished. The Trans is the 4spd original transmission I believe, I don’t know the rear end and gears and clutch. The motor has everything on it, brand new. The carb has never been dialed nor tuned. It’s hard to start unless you spray starting fluid on a very cold or first start, as in if you let it sit for a few days. I don’t know anything about this carb setup, so I cannot help you on this part. It does have the MSD ignition system and AC system, that to me is the bonus. The car does go into all 4 gears and revers. It idles great and motor sounds beautiful, all we ever did was move it in and out of the garage, The guy we got it from said he did drove it around his block a few times with no issues, But we never did.

Now, onto the body, it has been redone about 5 years ago is what we were told, since then the car has gone through a major restore, bottom up. Everything underneath is very clean, no sign of rust or anything, no holes patch nor panels redone, looks to be all 100% before restore, what I mean by 100% is all original body panels and floors. The paint however is not the best, looks like it was rushed to be finish and never had been cut and buff. It shines like a mirror but can use some work. There is also a few blemish in the bodywork and paint job, some areas, I believe on the driver rear quarter panel has some paint cracking. I don’t have pictures of that area but if you need I can get some. Other than these mentioned of the body work and paint. This thing is beautiful. Turns major head when it’s park outside and people just want to come talk about it. When we were towing it back from the friends place, we got thumbs up the whole way home, not to mention when we stop to gas up, the people coming up to us to talk about it.

Save the best for last lol. Onto the interior, this is the part that needs the most attention, this is the last part to making this car 100. It needs the cluster reinstalled, it needs carpet to be finish (trim and installed proper). Missing the passenger door panel, window handles need clips to be installed and so does the door handle. Shifter bezel and boot needs installed, a few misc and bits needs to be reinstalled. It needs a head liner.

Now for the good info, I have like 4-5 boxes of stuff for this car that came along with the car, it includes trims, bezels, moldings, instrumental cluster, bolts, brand new parts etc, a lot of stuff. Mostly interior stuff, a few little exterior parts as well, like the front headlight bezels and all.

All in all, if your one of these gearhead that can handle this project, then you will get a wonderful great deal. A little work goes a long ways with these cars. This car can easily be completed with very minimum work and time and have yourself a car wroth way much more. I’d like to say there is everything in those boxes to complete the car but the door panel and head liner, I know for sure I do not have those, or I would have saw it (big parts)

Other than what I’ve listed, this is what I know about the car and all the details I got out of the guy who I bought it from, the old owner who restored the car can no longer be reached (yeah, I know that sucks, I’ve tried).

eBay limits pictures so if you need more, lmk.
