Chevrolet muscle car lovers & especially Chevy II fanatics, you will want to take a very close look at this amazing machine! ‘Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is proud to offer you this absolutely stunning 1966 Chevrolet Nova Pro-Touring Custom! Over the years we have seen dozens of very nice Chevy II’s come through but this ultra-clean Nova is certainly in a category all its own. Built from the ground up w/ the idea of creating the ultimate Chevy II, thousands...of man-hours were spent doing just that. Wrapped in laser straight sheet metal and finished in a Mercedes Benz Metallic Silver, which looks absolutely amazing, this Chevy II is an absolute show-stopper! All body mouldings, stainless trim and fuel door were removed for a much smoother appearance. The front grille & rear panel are blacked out, which definitely gives the car that sinister look, the rear was mini-tubbed to fit that fat rubber in the back, and the black vinyl top was added, which really compliments the entire package. All of the glass is brand new and beautifully tinted all around. You can walk around this car a hundred times and never find a bad angle. The body sits on a new TCI M2 sub-frame featuring coil-overs up front, power rack & pinion steering, CPP 4-Link suspension w/ adjustable coil-overs in the rear, Wilwood 4-wheel power brakes (13” rotors w/ 6-piston caliper on the rear & 4-piston caliper up front), custom black fuel cell, etc., w/ way too much to list. Please look closely at the undercarriage photos to see how nicely everything was done. This Nova has a perfect stance, while sitting on one-off custom-built aluminum wheels (20” on the back & 18” up front) w/ the valve stems mounted on the inside, wrapped w/ Nitto NT555 Extreme radial tires (285/30/ZR20 on the rear & 225/35/ZR18 up front). The bottom line is that while trying to create the ultimate Chevy II, they knocked it out of the park! With only 388 miles driven since completing the build, this car is about as fresh as you can get! Open the doors and you will find a beautiful black vinyl bucket seat interior that reflects the perfect combination of factory stock w/ modern custom flare. Features include: black vinyl bucket seats w/ matching door panels, body-colored interior panels, body-colored dash w/ black insert, full set of Auto Meter Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite gauges, Nu-Relics power windows, Vintage Air Conditioning w/ stock controls, Ididit tilt steering column w/ black Billet Specialties Black Draft steering wheel, 16" Hurst Shifter w/ black shift knob, Detroit Speed wiper motor (under dash), and black loop carpeting throughout. Simple, extremely elegant and highly functional, while keeping that classic look & feel. All of the gauges, lights, blinkers, etc., are in perfect working order and the Vintage AC blows cold. The trunk was done is a tasteful drag-car style featuring a black rear panel w/ red Chevy II & Nova logos, glossy black battery box w/ red lettering & shut-off switch, and glossy black fuel neck. Pop open the hood and you will find a beautifully detailed engine bay w/ lots of custom sheet metal fabrication including a smoothed firewall, CPP aluminum inner fenders, and TCI adjustable down bars, which look amazing. Inside resides a custom-built 406ci stroker motor featuring Trick Flow aluminum heads, steel crank, roller rockers, Edelbrock Victor Jr. single-plane intake manifold, Holley 650 cfm carburetor, red valve covers w/ Chevrolet logo, MSD ignition w/ MSD Blaster SS coil, V-Trac serpentine pulley system, TCI ceramic coated headers w/ custom black coated 2.5” Magnaflow exhaust system, Mattson custom-built aluminum radiator w/ dual electric fans, billet overflow reservoir, custom air conditioning lines mounted to the inner fender wells, heavy-duty billet hood hinges, steel braided lines throughout, and on & on! The 406ci stroker is linked to an Elite TKO600 5-speed transmission w/ hydraulic slave cylinder, which feeds power to an asphalt shredding 9” Ford Positraction rear-end w/ 3.73 gears. She fires up instantly settling into a nice steady idle, and when it’s time to go, let me tell you she goes! This custom ’66 Nova runs & drives beautifully in every way, she is extremely fast w/ tons of torque, and is an absolute blast to drive! The Mattson aluminum radiator keeps her running nice & cool even in hot summer weather. She sounds just as good as she looks and gets a ton of attention anywhere she goes! This custom built Chevy muscle car will take home ‘First Place’ awards at any national level car event, and you can actually drive it to the show w/out worrying about reliability! If you are searching for a one-of-a-kind 1966 Chevrolet Nova that will separate you from all of the others out there, you have found your car!
