Up for sale we have a beautiful 1969 Chevrolet El Camino SS. This car features a stunning color combination and offers some great driver options like the Factory AC and the Big Block 396 engine. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of this Chevrolet, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of this El Camino. One of the first things you'll notice is how great all the panels, doors, and bed fit on this '69. The body is straight down the sides and all of gaps and body lines are excellent. Everything is covered in the Garnett Red Paint that is accented by the Black stripes and the black vinyl top. The paint is base coat clear coat and has been buffed and polished to a gorgeous shine. Inside the bed is all solid and is painted body color. One of the best accents for this model El Camino is the all the Chrome and Stainless that gives it that iconic design of the late '60's. To finish off the exterior it's sitting on a set of 14" SS Wheels and a set of Cooper Cobra Tires.
Next, we will look on the interior of this '69. On the inside it's done in the classic black which flows perfectly with the exterior color scheme. The bench seat is in great condition along with the cover that shows no signs of rips or tears. Looking at the door panels, carpet, and headliner you will notice they are also done in black and appear to have been replaced when the restoration was done. The dash pad is also in excellent condition and the gauges look awesome as well. As expected the Speedo and Gas Gauge are working as they should. The radio is also working and has been upgraded from the stock unit. You'll also notice this a factory AC car and it's working as well! To finish off the interior it does have the spare and jack behind the passenger side seat.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevy. Under the hood it features a '69 Model L34 396 350HP engine with the JC suffix code. It's mated to the '69 model Turbo 400 Trans and the 12 Bolt Rear End with around 3.07 gears. This 396 is set up with the GM Intake and Quadrajet Carburetor. For exhaust it has Manifolds with Dual Pipes and Flow Master Mufflers. In addition to the Factory AC this El Camino also comes with Power Steering and Power Brakes that feature disk on the front. When you look under this '69 you'll notice that the frame and floor pans all appear to be rock solid and in great condition.
