1954 Chevy 3100 5-Window All Steel Blue Patina Rat Rod

Custom build 1954 Chevy 3100 5-Window pickup truck. It is all steel and mostly original paint with a great original patina. It is clear coated and it looks awesome. This 54 pickup has a nice stance on a S10 frame. The wheels are American racing Special Edition series. Front tires are 245/45ZR17's with 275/55R17's on the rear. The bed is rough cut lumber with a patina Craftsman tool box mounted in the bed with the battery hiding inside. All lights work and windows roll up and down very well. It has a new writing harness from American Wire.

The engine was custom built in Shelby NC by a professional drag race engine builder. The motor was built right with race quality internals with less than 500 miles on it. The engine is a 406ci Chevy small block. The block is a 400 bored .30 over with a Scat crank and a stout Lunati cam (489 intake/504 exhaust, 227/233 split duration at 050). It has aluminum heads, new forged pistons, new rings, roller rockers...all race quality parts. It has sheet metal valve covers, high RPM aluminum intake with a custom built Quick Fuel 650cc double pumper carburetor. It also has an MSD box, new Griffin aluminum radiator with a 2000cfm pusher fan. The header are Hooker with all new stainless exhaust from the headers back. This motor is strong and sounds mean.

The transmission is a TH350 with a 2000 stall. (Had to win with the big cam) The rear end is a Chevy 10 Bolt with a 3.42 limited slip gear. The truck has a power steering and handles great. It also has a 4-wheel disc brakes and stops as well.

The interior has a saddle color bench seat along with matching panels on the door. I has a Lokar shifter and Omega gauges and a Sunpro Super Tach. All electrical works and gauges work. There are locking buttons on the doors along with a security system, stereo system and new A/C.

This is a super cool truck and a very popular model. The 1954 Chevy 3100 5-Window is highly desirable and this one is all steel. It gets all the attention at car shows and is a real head turner.
