1950 restoration Chevy 3100. approx 5k on the engine. 1954 6 cyl rebuilt 235 ci engine. Updated frame, probably a ChevyS-10. Disc brakes front. Radial tires in excellent condition. Converted to 12 volts. Air wipers converted to electric. 4-speed stick. First gear is a granny gear. Instruments work. Speedo reports 1/2 of actual traveling speed. Oil gauge. Temp. Voltage. Horn. Turn Signals.4-way flashers. 12-volt battery and electrics. Emergency brake works. Runs smooth. New radiator core. Stripped down to the frame for restoration. Seals replaced at 500 miles after rebuild. (rope seals) Gas gauge is only approximate. New float installed.
Nice truck. Can be run as a daily driver. Doors could use some alignment, hood fits well. Wooded bed new. dual exhaust added with new headers. Mag wheels with very good condition radial tires. Seatbelts. No radio. Split windshield. Windows work well. Starts easily. Choke control.Worth looking at.
