1961 Chevrolet Corvair Panel Additional Info:

Custom 1961 Chevrolet Corvair Van. Where do I start? This van is absolutely one of a kind and demands attention wherever it is driven. I will do my best to list all of the upgrades that have been completed to date. Fresh rebuild (less than 1500 miles) on the engine (1967 Corvair 110 HP flat 6) to include new components, automatic transmission (Powerglide 2-speeed), and rebuilt Rochester carburetors. (Spring 2018), too much detail to list. New, custom interior, headliner, panels, floors, all cut custom to fit... including new bench seat and seat belts. Brakes have been redone, not just pads, but drums and all. Fresh paint (Summer 17) with a flat olympic white and lowrider multi-flake paint that must be seen in person to appreciate. Lights up with multiple colors when in the sun / light... awesome! New shocks, springs, and tires. I have a ton or receipts, owner manuals etc. This van is intimately referred to as "Dante" as it is one badass van. Driven locally to and from the beach and other social gatherings. Has been used in some local promo photo shoots etc. Be ready for people to ask to take pics everywhere you go. Keep in mind that this van is almost 60 years old so does have some minor blemishes and rust. Otherwise; completely dependable and you will not have more fun driving another vehicle. Please do reach out with any questions and I'll be happy to provide as much detail as possible. Hate to sell... but need room for next project. Thanks for looking; good luck! NO RESERVE.
UPDATE INFO: Thanks to Corvantics (Corvair 95) chapter of CORSA clarifying that this is one of the earliest FCs to roll off the St. Louis assembly line, September 1960 - (#51) - most likely during the first week of production. Please note that there is no reserve on this vehicle and it will be sold.
